Amnesty International Slams Ongoing Israeli Human Rights Violations

Amnesty International on Wednesday lashed out at Israeli ongoing human rights violations, IRNA office in Berlin reported.  Unveiling its annual 2009 report on the global state of human rights at a press briefing here, the head of Germany branch Monika Lueke said there are daily human rights violations, and the Israeli seige of Gaza is an example of breaching human rights.  To date, some 1.5 million Gaza-based Palestinians have been cut off from vital food supplies and 8,000 North Gazans have no access to water.
